Kaileigh Bates was born in Connecticut and began dancing at the age of 2 after moving to Florida. She studied at Florida Arts and Dance Company, where she was mentored by Tasha Patterson Shirley, before moving to Dance Academy of Stuart and eventually returning to Wings to Fly Dance Company under Tasha’s guidance.

Kaileigh has been actively involved in local theater, performing with Shiloh Theatrical Productions, and now shares her love of dance by teaching at Florida Arts and Dance Company and Level Up Dance Center. Through her work with Florida Arts and Dance, she also teaches dance to special needs classes in local high schools.

Wings to Fly Dance Company has given Kaileigh the incredible opportunity to help integrate individuals with and without disabilities through dance. She is deeply grateful to follow in Tara Patterson's footsteps by harnessing dancers and making dreams come true on stage. Kaileigh believes there’s nothing more fulfilling than sharing the stage with these amazing individuals and showing the world that anything is possible.
